CRISIS PLANNING

Crisis Planning

Having a crisis plan in place won’t guarantee success. But not having one guarantees failure.

A crisis communications plan should include, but is not limited to, these items:

  • Introduction (purpose and plan usage)
  • Crisis team development (core team and responsibilities, contact list, spokespersons)
  • Crisis contact list (government, community, business partners, media)
  • Checklists (initial response, post assessment)

Should your club find itself facing a crisis situation, or if you would like assistance developing a crisis plan, reach out to pr@kiwanis.org.
